Vehicle Record Microphone Comparison 

Recently I was lucky enough to do a full coverage recording session of an Argo all terrain vehicle.  It was an amazing experience and lots was learned going through the process.  Some aspects of the recordings were a great success, while others were less so.  In the next few weeks I will be posting more detailed accounts of the session, for now though, I will start off with this video overview of the results.

Here is a quick run through of the various mic feeds I was able to capture.  Featured are some pass-bys, then the Argo climbing a hill with every mic feed highlighted separately, then the Argo at full speed on flat ground with each feed.  Take a listen:
